LESSONS
Bob has been teaching private guitar lessons for over 25 years, both electric and acoustic. He holds a B.A in Professional Music from the Berklee College of Music. He has taught players of all experience levels, from beginners to advanced professionals, and has a passion for helping others improve their playing!. Lessons are tailored to fit each student's musical goals, aspirations and pace. Bob is an expert in many guitar styles, including rock, country, jazz, blues and metal.
Learning strategies are decided upon by both teacher and student, and will involve music of the student's choosing. It's all about you and your musical goals!
Areas of study include ( but are not limited to):
Chords- triads & 7th chords Reading standard notation/sight reading Guitar maintenance
Scales & modes Modern techniques - sweep picking, tapping, etc. Professional preparation
Music theory Fingerstyle / hybrid picking Berklee preparation
Improvisation Effects & their uses
At the present time, all lessons occur at our Franklin, MA studio.
